Jay started woodturning in 2012 after watching a few YouTube videos. As his skills grew and ideas flourished, he began to blend woods with acrylics turning them on a lathe which is unusual for most woodturners. He also realized that this is a good way to encourage others to give back to the community. Woodturning has become his ministry and favorite pastime.
