VICKI JOHNSON, PATRICIA MAUPIN & PAM KOCHER
Chainmail Designs is a mother and twin daughter team creating beautiful jewelry designed to make the wearer feel special. Pat, the mother, started crafting chainmail in 2004 after purchasing a kit from the Internet. Things have not been the same since. Her passion for the art inspired her daughters to start creating; leading to the creation of Chainmail Designs.
Pat is located in Chino Valley and has been residing there since 1985. She sold her jewelry at craft fairs on the Prescott Square for many years before moving into The Prescott Art Market. Her work may also be found at the Phippen Museum.
All three members of the team have been designing and making jewelry for over a decade. Pat, Vicki, and Pam all make their own jump rings using tools crafted by Pat’s husband, Clay. Making their rings allows these three artists the flexibility to create any design they wish. Pat enjoys working mainly in copper, silver and gold-filled wire . Vicki and Pam use copper, aluminum, and occasionally silver wire. Every piece is crafted with care and attention to quality. Pat, Vicki, and Pam are passionate about weaving chainmail jewelry one ring at a time.
